Deciderio Vargas-Ortiz, 52, was arrested for the alleged murder of Renee Luis-Antonio. The two worked together at a creamery in Milton-Freewater, Oregon—a town in the northeastern part of the state—and reportedly had a long-running dispute. Three Sonic Drive-In employees were arrested in Texas after an ecstasy pill was found in a four-year-old boy's hamburger wrapper. The pill was discovered after his 11-year-old sister unwrapped the hamburger from his kid's meal.
According to police, the parents brought the entire meal to the Taylor Police Station after discovering the pill. Police officers were able to test the substance and confirm it contained ecstasy. Officers responded to the drive-in fast-food restaurant to continue their investigation, which led to the arrest of three Sonic Drive-In employees.

Four individuals in the country illegally who have Interpol warrants based on crimes they committed in their home countries were among 105 foreign nationals taken into custody during a five-day operation conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last week in New Jersey. The operation, which was spearheaded by ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), targeted at-large criminal aliens, illegal re-entrants and other immigration violators and was supported by ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) New Jersey Field Office.
Of those arrested during the operation, 80 percent had prior criminal convictions and/or pending criminal charges.

A janitor found 22-year-old Scott Krulcik unconscious at his work terminal on the sixth floor of the building on Eighth Avenue near West 16th Street around 9 p.m. Friday, police sources said.
EMS workers tried to perform CPR, but to no avail. Krulcik was pronounced dead at the scene. His body did not show any signs of trauma, and there did not appear to be criminality involved, authorities said. The city Medical Examiner’s office will determine the cause of death.
