China has developed a massive bomb, said to be the country's answer to the US-built 'Mother of All Bombs', the most powerful non-nuclear weapon, official media reported on Friday.
It is dubbed as the Chinese version of the "Mother of All Bombs" due to its huge destruction potential that is claimed to be only second to nuclear weapons, the daily said.
The bomb was airdropped by an H-6K bomber and caused a gigantic explosion, showed a promotional video released by China North Industries Group Corporation Limited (NORINCO) on its website at the end of December.
Corsi is suing Mueller and several other federal government agencies for $350 million over allegations of prosecutorial misconduct, leaking confidential grand jury information, and for “ongoing illegal, unconstitutional surveillance” of Corsi. The plaintiff argues that this surveillance was “at the direction of Mueller and his partisan Democrat, leftist, and ethically and legally conflicted prosecutorial staff.”
Millionaire anti-virus software tycoon John McAfee unleashed a barrage of criticism of the IRS in a series of tweets Thursday and bragged that he has not filed a tax return in eight years.
"I have not filed a tax return for 8 years," McAfee wrote before calling taxes illegal and complaining about government services. He noted that he lives off the money made from McAfee Inc. - the company he founded and resigned from in 1994 - and called himself a "prime target" for the IRS before writing "Here I am."
China said a U.S. delegation will visit next week for trade talks, confirming the two sides will have their first face-to-face negotiation since President Donald Trump and his counterpart Xi Jinping agreed to a 90-day truce in their trade war last month.
Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Jeffrey Gerrish will lead the U.S. delegation for the talks on Jan. 7 and 8, the Commerce Ministry said in a statement. Vice ministers from the two countries talked on the phone on Friday, and will discuss how to implement the consensus reached in Argentina when the two leaders meet in Beijing, it said. Bloomberg News reported earlier that U.S. officials would head to Beijing the week of Jan. 7.
More US troops will be deployed to the Southern border to "construct or upgrade" 160 miles of fending, as well as provide medical care to thousands of migrants arriving from Central America, reports NPR, citing military sources.
The Pentagon will foot the bill out of its discretionary funding for the deployment and fence construction along the California and Arizona borders with Mexico.
Legal and illegal migrants sent $53.4 billion in remittances back to Mexico and Central America in 2018, or more than double the cost of building a border barrier on the U.S.-Mexico border, according to a World Bank report.
Remittances to Mexico reached $33.7 billion in 2018, up 21 percent from roughly $27.8 billion in 2016, the bank reported.
Remittances from the three Central Americans countries are being spiked by the growing inflow of asylum-seeking migrants into blue-collar jobs throughout the U.S. economy, via the border’s catch-and-release laws. The outflow to Central America rose to $19.7 billion in 2018, up from $15.8 billion in 2016, according to the bank.
A DHS official confirmed to Breitbart News that the U.S. Border Patrol and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency is releasing more than 2,000 family units caught at the U.S.-Mexico border, citing a lack of detention space.
The border-crossing adults and the children they arrived at the border with will be released and given a court date for an immigration hearing. The adults will be given ankle monitors, though the DHS official says the process of keeping track of border-crossers via ankle monitors is not effective.
Border Patrol and ICE are experiencing major issues with detention space at the Yuma, Arizona sector of the border, as well as in San Diego, California, El Paso, Texas, and the Rio Grande Valley sector of the southern border.
Aurobindo Pharma USA, Inc., recently announced it was voluntarily recalling 80 lots of its valsartan tablets after detecting trace amounts of a possibly cancerous impurity. For now, this only seems to be a precautionary measure as the exact long-term risk of developing cancer is not known.
The impurity involves a chemical called N-nitrosodiethylamine or NDEA, which is a gasoline and lubricant additive in addition to having other industrial uses. It is "considered to be reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen," according to the National Institutes of Health.
Phoenix police are investigating possible sex abuse at a nursing facility after a female patient recently became pregnant and gave birth.
Sources tell Arizona's Family that the alleged victim has been a patient... for at least a decade after a near-drowning incident left her in a vegetative state. That woman gave birth to a baby boy on Dec. 29.
“None of the staff were aware that she was pregnant until she was pretty much giving birth,” a source familiar with the situation said.
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and Representative Francis Rooney of Florida on Thursday introduced a possible amendment to the United States Constitution that would impose term limits on members of Congress.
The amendment calls for a limit of three, two-year terms in the House of Representatives and two, six-year terms in the Senate.
Prosecutors contend that Gallagher, 39, is a callous murderer who stabbed to death the teenage detainee on May 3, 2017 near the Iraqi city of Mosul and also gunned down unwitting civilians with his sniper rifle, bragged about racking up kills and threatened to intimidate and publicly out SEAL buddies who complained to superiors and investigators about him.
Confined at the Naval Consolidated Brig Miramar in San Diego since his arrest on Sept. 11 at Camp Pendleton, where he was receiving treatment as a wounded warrior for traumatic brain injury, Gallagher, a married father and 19-year Navy veteran, has declared his innocence and vows to clear his name.
“The pharmaceutical industry is so powerful,” he explained. “They give $5.4 billion a year to the media. They’ve gotten rid of the lawyers, so there is no legal interest in those cases. They have really been able to control the debate and silence people like me.“
Asked how things could get this bad, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. explained that Congress granted Big Pharma “blanket legal immunity” when it comes to vaccines.
Big Pharma became a law unto themselves. They can put toxic ingredients in your vaccines, they can seriously injure your child – but you cannot sue them.
“What you have to understand is that the vaccine regimen changed dramatically around 1989."
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is undoubtedly one of the few people in politics with a shred of integrity and moral decency. He's a patriot.
The city of Los os Angeles has unveiled its long-anticipated earthquake early warning app for Android and Apple smartphones, which is now available for download.
The app is designed to give users seconds — perhaps even tens of seconds — before shaking from a distant earthquake arrives at a user's location.
Researchers have discovered a new species of tree frog on the slopes of a flat-topped mountain in a remote region of the Ecuadorean Andes, which is considered to be one of the richest areas for biodiversity in the world.
According to a study published in the journal ZooKeys, the amphibian has dark brown skin dotted with orange flecks and features a large and unusual claw-like structure protruding from the base of its thumb, known as a prepollex.
...it’s worth remembering that Brazil is the “B” in the ‘BRICS alliance’. Before U.S. President Donald Trump took center stage in the world of international influence, the former governments of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) had formed a coalition. Each nation represented an enlarged -and growing- regional trade/economic influence.
What we now see is two central regional components of the BRICS alliance, India and now Brazil, allied in economic ideology with President Trump.
In essence: Russia is bleeding financially (oil revenue dependent). China is being weakened during the U.S. -vs- China trade confrontation. And India along with Brazil are joining with the U.S. This fractures the BRICS alliance.
Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tn.), introduced the constitutional amendments on the first night of the 116th Congress, both digs at Trump.
“Presidents should not pardon themselves, their families, their administration or campaign staff," Cohen said in a statement. "This constitutional amendment would expressly prohibit this and any future president, from abusing the pardon power.”
It is illegal to pass laws designed to target one person, and this alongside the Pardon change, is arguably designed at Trump.
"More than a century ago, we amended our Constitution to provide for the direct election of U.S. Senators," he added. "It is past time to directly elect our President and Vice President.”
What kinda moron would think that's a valid comparison? These people are sick in the head.
If they eliminate the electoral college, this country will be in big trouble. The electoral college is there to make sure all the states count. Not just the ones with the most people. The elimination of the electoral college is basically the end of the USA. There's no way the entire country is going to just give up a third of the government to four states.
The thing is, the DEM's know this won't pass. They will just keep trying to pass stupid bills like this for the next 2 years. Without the Senate, they won't get anything done other than grandstand. So don't be surprised to see more stupid people put forth more stupid bills.
