Artificial Intelligence And The End Of Government…
January 7, 2019
In finance, AI is already helping financial advisors augment financial planning while enhancing investment strategy. And in medicine, AI diagnostics systems have proven to be far more accurate than doctors in diagnosing heart disease and cancerous growths.
[...]
At the federal level many agencies are beginning to deploy AI-powered interfaces for customer service, alongside an expanding use of software to update legacy-systems and automate simple tasks. Growing investments in infrastructure planning, legal adjudication, fraud detection, and citizen response systems represent the first phase in the ongoing digitization of government.

Building on deep learning tools, AI could mean significantly improving service delivery for citizens and elevating the work of public service professionals while also inspiring a new generation of technocrats to enter government. Alternatively, AI could also mean remaking government altogether.NBC News Tries to Excuse Alleged Child Predator with Sob Story…
January 7, 2019
Identity politics have so warped the establishment media’s collective hive minds that, just because he was black and gay, NBC News is singing the praises of a 20-year-old man who allegedly sought out a 14-year-old boy for sex.
In a lengthy piece that has to be read to be believed, here is NBC’s glowing biography of an alleged child predator...
Now, I ask you… Ever, in the history of journalism, has an alleged child predator received five glowing paragraphs of hagiography before his alleged crime was detailed?
This POPSquad that NBC News hates so much just happens to be an online version of NBC’s own Dateline program, To Catch a Predator, which ran from 2004 to 2007–the idea being to use the Internet to lure child predators out into the open where they are publicly exposed and shamed on camera.

January 7, 2019
The body of another young black man has been found at the West Hollywood apartment of Ed Buck — a prominent Democratic donor who allegedly has a fetish for drugging sex workers — reports Wehoville.
Buck, a white man in his 60s, was investigated previously by authorities after the death of Gemmel Moore, who died of a methamphetamine overdose in Buck's home in July 2017. Since Moore's death was classified as an accidental overdose, numerous young black gay men have alleged that Buck has a fetish for shooting drugs into black men he picks up off the street or on hookup sites. Moore had written about Buck injecting him with dangerous drugs before his death.

January 7, 2019

In a letter to the Justice Department obtained by the Washington Examiner, Buchanan called the report “disturbing” and said the government’s funding of the openly anti-Semitic black separatist group was “downright immoral.”
Facebook Knows How to Track You Using the Dust on Your Camera Lens…
January 7, 2019
One filed in 2015 describes a technique that would connect two people through the camera metadata associated with the photos they uploaded. It might assume two people knew each other if the images they uploaded looked like they were titled in the same series of photos—IMG_4605739.jpg and IMG_4605742, for example—or if lens scratches or dust were detectable in the same spots on the photos, revealing the photos were taken by the same camera.

"It's something that economists have been expecting," Jim Glassman, senior economist at the New York-based lender — the country's largest, told the Washington Examiner. "When it's hard to find workers, businesses work harder to try to find them, and pay is one of the things that makes that happen."
In many areas, the reality on the ground is even better than the 3.2 percent jump in hourly wages across the U.S. during December would suggest. Many JPMorgan clients say the national numbers "aren't showing as big an increase as what they're seeing," Glassman explained.
JPMorgan's report, which relies on information gathered in early November from more than 1,800 businesses with $100,000 to $500 million in annual revenue, backs up an array of data showing continued U.S. economic resiliency despite concern over international trade disputes and volatility on Wall Street.
5 Things Commie Cortez doesn’t want you to know about the Green New Deal…
January 7, 2019
The radical plan would force families to pay more to heat, cool and provide electricity to their homes. It would raise the same costs for businesses, farmers, government and organizations, driving up their operating costs – and raising the prices for just about all the good and services Americans buy.

January 7, 2019
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez and activist Shaun King continued pushing the theory that a white man murdered Jazmine Barnes, even after both had received a tip that the 7-year-old Houston girl’s killer was black.
Gonzalez acknowledged at a press conference Sunday that he received a tip from King in the middle of the week that Barnes’s killer was not the white male initially suspected in the case.
King wrote Sunday on Instagram that he received the tip on Jan. 3 that a 20-year-old black man named Eric Black Jr. and another man had shot Barnes.
Ford To Deploy 5G Vehicle-To-Everything Tech By 2022…
January 7, 2019
“Driver-assist technologies today and autonomous vehicles of the future utilize on-board sensors much in the way people use their eyes to navigate complex environments,” Butler wrote. “C-V2X could complement these systems in ways similar to how our sense of hearing complements our vision to improve our ability to operate in a complex world.”
5G isn’t just changing how society will utilize the internet — it’s also transforming how vehicles can connect with their surrounding environment.
Ford Motor Company will be the first to use 5G to enable ubiquitous communication between autos, traffic signals, cell phones, and more. This also gives us a clue as to when 5G will be completely rolled out throughout the country.

Indiana Grocery Store Can’t Process Food Stamp Payments Due To Govt. Shutdown…
January 7, 2019
In Clay City, Indiana, the local IGA discovered the problem last week. Initially, they thought it was a technical glitch.
And although it’s for a slightly different reason, The Red Lion store in York County, Pennsylvania has also had issues. New owners recently purchased the grocery store and sent in their application to accept government benefits before the shutdown occurred.
And by the end of January, these two stores may only be a drop in the bucket.
More than 42 million Americans rely on food stamps.
The FBI is Trying Amazon’s Facial-Recognition Software…
January 7, 2019
While Amazon is now a significant supplier of technology to the government—much of it through its cloud business, AWS, which includes the CIA and Defense Department as customers—it is less clear how its facial recognition software is being used in the public sector. The Daily Beast reported the company pitched the software to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials last summer, a move that has lawmakers and Amazon employees asking questions. The company does not list any federal clients on its customer page, and currently only identifies as a customer one local law enforcement agency, the Washington County Sheriff Office. According to press reports, the city of Orlando recently began a second pilot of Amazon's Rekognition software.
Why on earth do Amazon have a facial recognition program? Because there is a market for it, unfortunately. They also most likely use it to watch/track their factory employees since being able to autonomously identify who an employee is and what their doing.

Petition for the removal of Rashida Tlaib gets over 70k signatures…
January 7, 2019
The removal of Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) from office, do to inappropriate and unstable actions becoming of a congresswoman.
Do to Rashida Tlaib actions and profanity, she is unfit to be a congresswoman. Her rude display and lack of respect for our sitting President was uncalled for. Her immediate removal from her seat is just and warranted. Do to her hatred towards our president, I feel she is a national security threat
Even though this might get an overwhelming amount of votes, Americans are unable to remove an elected member of the House or Senate from office before their terms end because there is no recall mechanism set forth in the U.S. Constitution. Only House or Senate can expel a member if there is the support to do so by at least two-thirds of the members. There have been only 20 cases of expulsion in the US history. In the past expulsion has been used to punish House and Senate members who have committed a serious crime, abuse of their power or been "disloyal" to the United States.

QQueen’s Brian May Writes New Solo Track For Historic NASA Mission…
January 7, 2019
Legendary Queen guitarist Brian May’s first new solo work in more than two decades is a song called “New Horizons.” It’s a tribute to the ongoing NASA New Horizons mission that will mark the most distant spacecraft flyby in history on January 1st, 2019.
May, who has a doctorate in astrophysics and is also a New Horizons science collaborator, was asked to write a song, as an anthem of sorts, to coincide with the flyby.
“I’ve always wanted to do space stuff ever since I was a kid, and obviously music has always been a huge part of my life," May says. "So, this was an opportunity to, in a sense, join the two and make something unusual out of it."
