CBS News and NBC News announced Tuesday morning that they will broadcast the Democrat Party’s response to President Donald Trump’s Oval Office address this evening.
The major networks will join CNN in broadcasting the response after Democrat leaders called to be given “equal air time” after networks agreed to air President Trump first address to the nation. It is still unclear which Democrat lawmaker will deliver the response.
Retail giant Sears will ask a US bankruptcy judge if it can proceed with liquidating its assets after a last-minute bid by Chairman Eddie Lampert failed, reports Reuters. A liquidation would affect approximately 68,000 employees and 425 stores.
According to Reuters, lawyers for Lampert and ESL plan to present details of his offer to the judge and make their case for renewing efforts to save Sears.
Monday on FNC's 'The Ingraham Angle,' Counselor to President Donald Trump Kellyanne Conway discussed whether President Donald Trump will declare a national emergency on the border crisis during his address to the nation Tuesday evening.
Repeating what he said Monday, Roberts said Ginsburg is “unable to be present” for the court’s sitting, but will participate in the decisions using transcripts of the arguments and court briefs.
Ginsburg, who was forced to miss her first oral argument in more than 25 years on Monday, is still recuperating at home after surgery to remove two cancerous nodules from the lower lobe of her left lung on Dec. 21.
House Judiciary Committee, ranking member Doug Collins, together with Jim Jordan (ranking member Oversight), and Representative Mark Meadows, begin questioning U.S. Attorney John Huber in their effort to expose the biggest current DOJ con job.
In a letter to U.S. Attorney John Huber (read full pdf), Collins, Jordan and Meadows begin the formal process to expose a widely believed fraud.
There is ZERO factual evidence of any investigative action underway by U.S. Attorney Huber, beyond speculation and supposition.
ZERO evidence? We'll see about that soon. None-the-less, good work by Sundance. A must read.

Let’s hope you’re not afraid of dogs, because if Continental gets its way, autonomous robot dogs are going to be delivering your packages. At the Consumer Electronics Show today, Continental unveiled its Black Mirror-esque vision for how driverless vehicles can autonomously deploy bots to facilitate last-mile deliveries.
Endless Wars, especially those which are fought out of judgement mistakes that were made many years ago, & those where we are getting little financial or military help from the rich countries that so greatly benefit from what we are doing, will eventually come to a glorious end!
CNN's Don Lemon is worried people will believe Trump's speech on the southern border crisis: "But do you think it should be -- I don't know -- a delay of some sort, and then you can -- because people believe it. Trump will say what he has to say. People will believe it..." pic.twitter.com/H91aHzuxU4
From 1991 to 2016, the U.S. cancer death rate dropped steadily by about 1.5 percent per year, resulting in an overall decline of 27 percent during the 25-year-period, according to the report from the American Cancer Society (ACS). That translates to an estimated 2.6 million fewer cancer deaths than would have been expected if death rates had remained at their peak level, the researchers said.
Although the continued decline in overall cancer death rates is good news, the "bad news that this report highlighted [is that] inequalities are widening, particularly among those of low socioeconomic status,"..
"If you look in the past, you don't have to go too far back in history that bipartisan legislation that was passed, the Secure Fence Act. In 2006 and 2016, bipartisan legislation passed where they built the wall or fence or physical barrier — whatever you want to call it," he explained.
"It's a wall — it works," Morgan em.phasized..."I cannot think of a legitimate argument why anyone would not support the wall," Morgan a
The United States, on a per capita basis, spends much more on health care than other developed countries; the chief reason is not greater health care utilization, but higher prices, according to a study from a team led by a Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health researcher.
The researchers determined that the higher overall health care spending in the U.S. was due mainly to higher prices—including higher drug prices, higher salaries for doctors and nurses, higher hospital administration costs and higher prices for many medical services.
The paper finds that the U.S. remains an outlier in terms of per capita health care spending, which was $9,892 in 2016. That amount was about 25 percent higher than second-place Switzerland’s $7,919. It was also 108 percent higher than Canada’s $4,753, and 145 percent higher than the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) median of $4,033. And it was more than double the $4,559 the U.S. spent per capita on health care in 2000—the year whose data the researchers analyzed for a 2003 study.
This is a precedent case that proves that Social Media needs to be judged the same as the News. Expect 2020 whereby Social Media is rendered useless in elections as they will be required by law to follow the standards (non) as the Press but can be sued.
Bell was one of the first aircraft manufacturers to team up with Uber in 2017, when the ride-hailing company first released its ambitious plan to create a network of city-based flying taxis as a way to alleviate street-level traffic. Since then, Bell has been hard at work on its own design, and at CES this week, it pulled back the curtain on its first concept.
“This is not a toy,” Drennan told The Verge. “This is an aircraft you would feel safe and comfortable bringing your family into.” The large ducts hide the rotors, which should help ease any anxiety from customers about losing a limb from its fast-spinning blades. In other words, “for people who aren’t accustomed to VTOL type aircraft,” Drennan said — which, arguably, is everyone who doesn’t regularly commute via helicopter.
