New Emails Confirm FBI Tried To Work Deal With State Dept To Minimize Hillary Email Scandal…
February 13, 2019
Over two years after the fact, newly released FBI emails obtained via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request confirm that James Comey's FBI attempted to work out a quid pro quo deal with the Obama State Department to help minimize the Hillary Clinton private email server scandal just weeks before the 2016 election.
Fox News's Catherine Herridge and Pamela K. Browne first reported on the alleged deal back on October 15, 2016, but full confirmation did not come until this week when the government transparency watchdog group Judicial Watch released FBI communication related to the deal.

These Are America’s Most Unaffordable Cities For Housing…
February 13, 2019
To come up with our findings, we looked at the median monthly housing costs in roughly 500 metros* to pinpoint the markets where folks are spending the most on their homes. We did this by dividing the median monthly costs for renters and homeowners by the median monthly household income. We limited our ranking to just one metro per state. And keep in mind that these are median figures, so half the folks in these cities are paying even more than the figures cited. Sometimes much more.

Trump To Use Executive Order To Allocate More Funds To Wall, Avoiding Shutdown…
February 13, 2019
In an interesting twist, it looks like Trump has decided on a middle path that will allow him to keep the government open while getting more of his border wall built than Congress had initially authorized.
According to WaPo, Trump will use an executive order to reallocate federal funds to finance the wall - or at least something more than the 55 miles that the compromise bill would finance.
We called it first.
Why declare a "National Emergency" when Trump has 3 other options? National Emergencies don't last forever and it surely isolates the President from half the country. Remember, there are 3 options Trump has under his belt which he hinted at numerous times when he said "I have other alternatives".
- 1) Trump can have Mitch McConell use the Nuclear Option.
- 2) Trump can make use of the budget reconciliation process.
- 3) Third Trump Card is use of unauthorized spending.
For those wondering about the reconciliation process: [Created by the Congressional Budget Act of 1974, reconciliation allows for expedited consideration of certain tax, spending, and debt limit legislation. In the Senate, reconciliation bills aren't subject to filibuster and the scope of amendments is limited, giving this process real advantages for enacting controversial budget and tax measures.].
Trump did a smart move. He got somewhat of a bi-partisan deal done, which down the line, the DEMs can't actually knock down the wall because Trump built the wall on a pretense of a National Emergency. He will also sign this deal and will use it in any future legal setting.
This is the deal master at work.

Most of the Americans who have recently fallen behind on their car payments have low credit scores or are younger than 30 years old.
Fed economists said the rise in the number of delinquent borrowers is "surprising" considering a strong labor market and economy.
Jussie Smollett’s Phone Records Rejected by Police and New Evidence Emerges..
February 13, 2019
“We are very appreciative of the victim’s cooperation. However, the records provided do not meet the burden for a criminal investigation, as they were limited and heavily redacted. Detectives may be following up with the victim to request additional data to corroborate the investigative timeline,” Chicago police stated in an email.
Chicago Police Department spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said Smollett turned over a PDF file containing a redacted record of phone calls, but he said the redactions were “extreme.”

Meantime, police also are investigating a half-empty hot sauce bottle with a clear liquid in it, which recently was found near the scene of the alleged attack. Sources said the bottle smelled like bleach, which might corroborate Smollett’s claim his attackers poured a liquid chemical on him.The bottle was not found during early evidence searches, but discovered later by a newspaper reporter.

‘Huge, Sophisticated’ Mexican Cartel Meth Lab Busted by DEA in Georgia…
February 13, 2019
DEA Special Agent in Charge Robert Murphy told Conservative Review that his office busted a methamphetamine lab run by the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) in an affluent suburb near Atlanta. He called the operation “huge and sophisticated.”
“We knew they were in the process of making a major cook and it was going to hit the streets,” Murphy told the reporter. “We had no idea we were going to find the size and sophistication of what we found. They were taking the liquid meth that had crossed over the border in Texas and converting it back into solid meth.”
“Only one person was in the country on some sort of legal status, and they were all working for (CJNG),” the DEA agent explained. “Mexican nationals absolutely control the entire methamphetamine smuggling process, and it’s all coming from the border – from the smuggling and the processing and the initial distribution all the way through the mid-level of trafficking.”
