The residents of a makeshift New Mexico compound -- where 11 emaciated children were found during an August raid -- were charged by federal authorities Wednesday with terror, kidnapping and firearms offenses.
“The indictment alleges that the defendants conspired to provide material support in preparation for violent attacks against federal law enforcement officers and members of the military,” Assistant Attorney General John C. Demers for the Department of Justice's National Security Division said.

At approximately 7:00am on Wednesday March 13, Canadian Citizen Constantine Xethalis, was encountered at the Blue Water Bridge attempting to make entry into the United States. During the primary inspection Xethalis along with a passenger in the vehicle were unable to provide proof of citizenship to the CBP Officer during their primary inspection and were referred for a secondary inspection.

The illegal immigrant arrested in last month's murder of a California woman apparently had been protected by the county's sanctuary policy before the killing, even though immigration officials had tried to detain him, documents provided to Fox News on Thursday suggest.
The suspect, Carlos Eduardo Arevalo Carranza, was arrested this past Monday in connection to the Feb. 28 stabbing death of 59-year-old Bambi Larson in San Jose. Following the arrest, San Jose Police Chief Eddie Garcia detailed the suspect’s extensive criminal history – including admitted gang ties – and noted that Carranza had been on the radar of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

A “significant” number of people are dead after a mass shooting occurred at two mosques in New Zealand. Four people, three men and a woman, are in custody as local authorities investigate whether the deadly incident is a terrorist attack.
The commissioner said in regards to whether the shootings were terrorist attacks, police are still looking at the “circumstances” surrounding the incidents but “it doesn’t get any more serious in this country.”... Police also located a number of cars with explosive devices attached to vehicles.

The group, Organize for Justice, is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, meaning it can raise unlimited sums of money without having to disclose the identity of its donors to the public.
Organize for Justice’s website states that it is the “sister organization” of Justice Democrats, the PAC that, according to corporate filings, Ocasio-Cortez and her chief of staff have held control over since December 2017.

Sen. Kate Brophy McGee disagreed, acknowledging the bill “does not solve every problem in the charter spectrum” but saying it’s a compromise that makes improvements. The Legislature can’t go too far in erasing the flexibility that defines charters, she said.
