The watchdog said the overcrowding at El Paso Del Norte Processing Center has led to "standing-room-only conditions" for weeks at the facility. El Paso sector Border Patrol apprehensions from October to April were 98,052, a 619 percent increase over the same time period the year before. An inspection of the facility revealed that a cell with a maximum capacity of 12 people held 76, one with a maximum capacity of eight held 41 and one with a maximum capacity of 35 held 155 people.
The license for Missouri’s last abortion provider will not expire, according to court documents. Judge Michael Stelzer has ruled that the “temporary restraining order is granted” and "petitioner's license shall not expire and shall remain in effect." The matter will be heard in court again on June 4. The clinic’s license to perform abortions was scheduled to expire end of today.
CBP officer encountered a 41-year-old female U.S. citizen driving a grey 2017 Dodge Ram truck. During the inspection, a canine team was screening vehicles and the canine alerted to the undercarriage of the truck. Officers escorted the driver and vehicle for a more in-depth examination. CBP officers conducted an intensive inspection on the Dodge Ram and found 153 wrapped cellophane packages of methamphetamine hidden inside the spare tire and gas tank. The weight of the narcotics was 112 pounds with a street value of approximately $179,200.
"Most importantly, in addition to physical ailments, Mr Assange showed all symptoms typical for prolonged exposure to psychological torture, including extreme stress, chronic anxiety and intense psychological trauma," he said...
Allow me to get to the point. The latest word I have received from England is as follows:
“[Julian Assange] is presently under close observation in prison hospital because he has suffered ‘severe transient psychotic episodes.’ My source(s) indicate these episodes occurred after two sessions of coercive interrogation at the hands of UK and US officials. The source(s) stated the HUMINT interrogators used psychotropic drugs in the course of the sessions.”
Is this all theater? Who knows, but it's worth noting.
Some thought this was common knowledge already. But apparently not. Mothers milk contains mostly IgA which coats the intestines and protects the baby from infection. Long term immunological memory was not thought to be transferred.
The measure also would create a task force to enforce laws requiring those whose gun licenses have been revoked to surrender their firearms or place them with a legal owner. And the bill would raise the application fee for the license, known as a firearm owner’s identification card, to $20 for a five-year license, up from a $10 fee for a card that was good for 10 years... If the legislation is approved by the Senate and signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker, gun license applicants would be required to provide fingerprints to receive or renew their cards. The move is intended to provide a more thorough criminal background check, but detractors say it infringes on their Second Amendment rights.

Pompeo warned that the U.S. could limit Germany’s access to intelligence data should the country use Chinese state-owned Huawei to build its 5G telecom infrastructure. He spoke briefly about Iran, Russia, Syria and Venezuela. He also responded to a question on the fate of members of the North Korean officials. Pompeo declined to elaborate on their fate, saying only that he had seen the reports and the U.S. is "doing our best to check it out."
Sessions had also asked Huber in 2017 to look into issues related to the sale of Uranium One and allegations that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had been improperly involved in the process, as well as broader claims of corruption at the Clinton Foundation. Barr seemed to suggest that what evidence Huber found, if any, may soon be revealed.
"The other issues [Huber has] been working on relate to Hillary Clinton” are "winding down and hopefully we'll be in a position to bring those to fruition," Barr said...
This is getting good. Barr was asked during an interview recently with CBS if he cares about his reputation, he said: “everyone dies”.⠀Here is the full transcript of the interview. Also, the following is the reason they refuse to air the entire interview:
JAN CRAWFORD: You know the- I guess- we've spent the last two years or more talking about and hearing about Russian interference into the elections and what occurred there. And so now we're shifting to talking about actually investigating, reviewing that investigation and the people who did that. So I guess in making this turn can you help us understand, I mean what's- what is the concern? What have you seen, what's the basis for that?

In the event of a ban, one of the most important backstops would be America’s Mountain Pass mine... “By far the cheapest and fastest way to bring more material into the market — if there was a disruption — is just sitting there in California,” says Gholz. “It’s not like starting from scratch.”...
Always a good reminder. Which makes you think; Is a global financial collapse purposely instigated in order to bring in the new system?
“We hope that the Canadian side will come to understand the full consequences of pulling chestnuts from the fire on behalf of the United States, and not inflict more harm on themselves,” Geng told reporters, without elaborating...
But there’s good news, too—at least on this side of the pond. While more Americans may be embracing the term “socialism,” Gallup’s polling shows that more of us are also rejecting it. On a vast array of policy matters, Americans are giving a thumbs-down to big government, too... While Gallup’s data does show a big swing towards favorable views of socialism, it shows close to the same shift towards Americans seeing it as a “bad thing.” In 1942, 40% of Americans saw socialism negatively; now, 51% do.
The bill, if signed into law by state governor Janet Mills, will force the national and smaller regional internet providers operating in the state to first obtain permission from residents before their data can be sold or passed on to advertisers or other third parties...
