On Friday, buses carrying 77 Cuban migrants bound for the same trip home departed a government shelter here in Tapachula. According to the regional director of Mexico’s National Institute of Migration Yadira de Los Santos, there has been a major increase in Cuban migrants in recent months. antos said some Cubans have been particularly difficult and started a “riot” Wednesday night inside the shelter, putting themselves and her officers in danger. Some 300 migrants escaped.

In a stunning revelation this week, Carl Kline, the former director of the White House’s Personnel Security Office, told the House Oversight and Reform Committee that leaks regarding highly classified security clearances in President Trump’s administration “likely emanated from the Office’s adjudication team,” according to a memo issued by the committee. Kline also stressed during his testimony this week that no one in the White House, or anyone else for that matter, had approached him or pressured him to grant security clearances.

The president and Republican-controlled Senate have made judicial nominations a top priority, and the confirmation of Rodolfo Ruiz to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida brought the number of Trump's judicial appointments into triple digits.

In addition to confirming Ruiz, the Senate is also set to clear two more nominees to federal district courts in Puerto Rico and Pennsylvania. If those two nominations win approval, Trump will have tapped 102 judges to the federal bench.

About 40 minutes later at 2:10 a.m. U.S. Border Patrol agents in El Paso also encountered a large group of illegal aliens ... made up of 219 people. On Thursday morning another large group was apprehended in Antelope Wells with a total of 209 illegal aliens.
