Four motorcycle police officers crashed on Interstate 10 as the motorcade departed Chennault International Airport in Lake Charles, Louisiana, according to reporters traveling with the president. There were no serious injuries, the White House said. Trump's armored limousine was not affected.

Kappy forced himself off the Transwestern Road bridge onto Interstate 40 where he was struck by a Ford pickup truck, DPS spokesperson Bart Graves confirmed on Tuesday morning. Graves confirmed Kappy was an actor based in Albuquerque, New Mexico who had small roles in movies such as "Thor," "Terminator Salvation" and "Beerfest." ... two teenagers driving by got out of their vehicle and tried to physically restrain Kappy from jumping, but failed...

The Justice Department said in a news release Tuesday that RM Broadcasting of Jupiter, Florida, was essentially providing publicity for Russia through an agreement with state-run Rossiya Segodnya. That entity’s “Sputnik” programming is broadcast all day on WZHF-AM in the Washington area.
RM Broadcasting had asked Florida U.S. District Judge Robin Rosenberg to rule it’s not required to register as a foreign agent, but she sided with the Justice Department. Officials say this was the first civil enforcement since 1991 of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

There had been speculation as to why Haspel had been spotted at the Justice Department in recent weeks. Wray testified last week he was assisting Barr. Baytown Police Lt. Steve Dorris said an officer on patrol saw a 45-year-old woman the officer had encountered before. He knew the woman had outstanding warrants, so he approached her to arrest her. Dorris said a struggle started and the officer was forced to use his Taser. But as he was trying to detain the woman, she managed to get control of the Taser and used it on the officer, who then fired several shots, hitting the woman at least once.
