Ohio State Finds Team Doctor Sexually Abused 177 Male Students in the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s…
May 17, 2019
In a report issued Friday, Ohio State said the doctor, Richard Strauss, who committed suicide in 2005, had groped students, required them to strip, and asked intimate questions about sexual practices under the guise of providing medical treatment. The university said that college personnel knew about Dr. Strauss’s activities as early as 1979 but that no reports advanced out of the athletic department or the student health department until 1996. After his actions were finally reported, he was suspended and then removed from his post, but he remained a tenured faculty member. Dr. Strauss then opened an off-campus clinic and continued to abuse students.
Angela Merkel says the new world order is over and calls for Europe to stand up to China, Russia, and the US…
May 17, 2019
German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she thinks the post-World War II global order as we know it is over — and grouped the United States with China and Russia as adversaries of Europe. "There is no doubt that Europe needs to reposition itself in a changed world," Merkel told Süddeutsche Zeitung in an interview, shared with The Guardian. "The old certainties of the postwar order no longer apply."
Merkel said she thinks the rise of right-wing populism — which many scholars have cited as the force behind seismic geopolitical events like Britain's exit from the EU, the election of US President Donald Trump, and the rise of populist leaders throughout Europe — has fundamentally shifted the global order of alliances and leaves Europe and its political and economic union on the defense.
Mueller files show Flynn under investigation earlier than thought, as brother alleges effort to ‘trap him’…
May 17, 2019
According to Mueller's report, "members of the intelligence community were surprised by Russia's decision not to retaliate in response to the sanctions. When analyzing Russia's response, they became aware of Flynn's discussion of sanctions with Kislyak. Previously, the FBI had opened an investigation of Flynn based on his relationship with the Russian government. Flynn's contacts with Kislyak became a key component of that investigation."
It now seems the General Flynn was under investigation long before was common knowledge. It would have been impossible for me to know this but, if that was the case, and with me being one of two people who would become president, why was I not told so that I could make a change?

Barr: Mueller did not look into origins of Trump-Russia investigation…
May 17, 2019

He was not going back and looking at the counterintelligence program.”... Barr said, “There is a misconception out there that we know a lot about what happened.” Barr said that there were “a number of investigations underway that touch upon it," including Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s investigation into possible Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse, but so far “no one has really looked across the whole waterfront.” Barr has also tasked U.S. Attorney John Durham with reviewing the origins of the federal Russia investigation.
