Chicago police on Monday released hundreds of files from the investigation into Jussie Smollett’s claim he was attacked by two men, including video footage that for the first time shows the “Empire” actor with a thin, white rope wrapped around his neck that he told detectives was a noose... In all, police released nearly 1,200 different individual files on Monday, including thousands of pages of documents, arrest reports and handwritten notes from police. Added up, there is more than 90 hours of video, much of it hour after hour of surveillance cameras high above city streets.

President Trump, in an executive order issued Monday, directed HHS and other agencies to put out rules requiring hospitals disclose prices that reflect what patients and insurers “actually pay” for services, Azar told reporters.
The rules aim to bring more transparency to a health care system where patients usually don’t find out how much a procedure costs until they get the bill in the mail.

The United States has given Turkey a deadline of July 31 to drop the purchase of the S-400 system, or face sanctions and removal from its F-35 fighter jet program.

"CBS This Morning" has reviewed e-mails from California Cryobank to several of its clients, disclosing that a hold has been placed on the use of some donor sperm from the inventory it bought from Manhattan Cryobank. The e-mails said the screening did not comply with FDA requirements.

The fighter jets were on an air combat mission when they collided and crashed, a development that was witnessed by a third Eurofighter pilot flying nearby.
"Together with a third Eurofighter they were flying an Air Combat Mission," the German air force said in a tweet. "The pilot of the third Eurofighter observed the collision and reported that two parachutes descended to the ground."...
Reports that two Eurofighter jets touched each other and crashed in Northern Germany. Apparently the pilots ejected safely, but wildfires have erupted at the crash sites.
