FBI agents are investigating after a number of munitions, including assault rifles and pistols, were discovered to have been stolen from the vault of the Office of Shooting Instructors of the Guayama Area Command on Thursday morning.
Along with the missing firearms was scrawled a message on the wall, "Ricky resign silver or lead." The expression, originally "plata o plomo" in Spanish, is a Colombian slang phrase made famous by drug lord Pablo Escobar, in which the speaker is telling the listener to either accept a bribe or lose their life.

Nader was involved in various meetings and discussions related to the Trump presidential transition that drew the attention of Mueller investigators, including a meeting that Erik Prince, the founder of private military contractor Blackwater, held with a Russian ally of President Vladimir Putin in the Seychelles in January 2017.
When Nader flew into Dulles Airport outside Washington in January 2018, he was questioned by agents working for Mueller. A search of three iPhones seized from him that day via a search warrant allegedly turned up child pornography.
Prosecutors filed a criminal complaint against Nader over the images in April 2018 but kept the charges under seal and never told his attorneys about them even as he continued to cooperate with Mueller’s probe, lawyers said.

The four-year-old girl left her caretakers to use a restroom located within the McDonald’s play area, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by Oklahoma City’s KWTV-DT.
One of the caretakers who went to check on the girl found that the restroom door was locked and began knocking. Kabatra eventually opened the door with his arms raised saying “I was just washing my hands,” the caretaker told police. The child told the caretaker and police that Kabatra had touched her genital areas with both his hands and his own genitals.
Kabatra told police that he felt ill and went into the unlocked restroom where he found the child already sitting on the toilet. He claimed he threw up in the sink, washed his hands and then left...

Thousands of people were without power in Madison, Wis., Friday morning after a transmission explosion and fire at an energy provider's power center... An MGE spokesperson confirmed the fire in a statement to The Hill, saying in a Friday statement that it caused "some" customers to be out of service. The spokesperson also said the substation fire is out and that a damage assessment is set to begin. The company does not have an estimated time of power restoration.

The IRGC took the British tanker, Stena Impero, to a coastal area and turned it over to maritime authorities, according to Iran State TV.
Reuters reported that a second British-operated tanker had also taken a sharp northerly turn and was heading toward Iran after passing through the Strait of Hormuz into the Gulf. Reuters said the source on the movement of Liberian flagged tanker Mesdar was Refinitiv data.
The British government said it was seeking information on the seizure of a tanker, following initial reports on the Stena Impero.

The technology is designed to use facial recognition algorithms to find and track suspects in real-time. A police officer uploads a photo of someone's face to the system and receives an alert when Rekognition has found a match within live surveillance camera streams. But technology glitches and a lack of resources meant that the city never got the technology working properly. The news was celebrated by the American Civil Liberties Union, which protested the pilot and said Amazon shouldn't be allowed to sell the technology law enforcement for privacy reasons.
