New Eurostat figures reveal that the country is now 24th out of 28 EU member states in unemployment levels, Expressen reports. Löfven had set a goal in 2013 for Sweden to have the lowest unemployment rate in the entire EU by 2020. With that year fast approaching, the country’s unemployment is now near the levels of France, Italy, Spain, and Greece, the latter of which has seen systemic unemployment for years.

A World War II-era bomber plane crashed in a fireball as it tried to land Wednesday at New England's second-busiest airport, injuring at least six people aboard, officials said... Six people on board were taken to Hartford Hospital, said hospital spokesman Shawn Mawhiney. He did not yet have information on their condition... The Federal Aviation Administration said the vintage plane crashed at the end of a runway while attempting to land at Bradley International Airport, adding that it is a civilian registered aircraft and not flown by the military.

Bernie Sanders underwent a procedure after the Democratic presidential candidate was found to have a blockage in an artery on Tuesday night, the Sanders campaign announced Wednesday. Sanders is canceling campaign events until further notice. Sanders, 78, experienced some chest discomfort during a campaign event, his campaign said. Following a medical evaluation and testing, a blockage was found and two stents were successfully inserted.
He is conversing and in good spirits, according to his campaign. "He will be resting up over the next few days," Jeff Weaver, senior adviser to the Sanders campaign, said in a statement. "We are canceling his events and appearances until further notice, and we will continue to provide appropriate updates." They did not say where he is being treated.

The fee banks charge for withdrawing cash from the ATM keeps climbing. For an out-of-network machine, the average cost is now $4.72 — that's a record, according to a new Bankrate.com survey. That amount includes $3.09 charged by the ATM's owner and $1.63 charged by your bank for going outside their system. If your bank account dips into the red, expect to pay several times that amount. Overdraft fees rose to an average of $33.36, pennies short of their all-time high of $33.38 in 2017.

Tushar Atre, 50, was kidnapped from his home on the 3000 block of Pleasure Point Drive, according to Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office investigators. According to Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood, the 11 men ranged from ages 19 to 55. Most of those arrested came from surrounding areas around Volusia County, and one possibly from Virginia.
