A cream originally developed to help combat memory loss conditions is now being used to generally boost brain power - and could be available in the UK in as little as five years' time... Dihexa, a neuropeptide developed by Washington State University... was initially developed to help slow down cell death and destructive enzymes that reduce memory and learning in patients with Alzheimer's disease and cognitive impairment. But having passed safety trials in the US, the drug is now being prescribed to people wanting to improve their general brain power.
When researching this drug, we found an interesting bit of information. When they were testing Dihexa on rats that were high on scopolamine, before treated with Dihexa, the rats were never able to learn a location, but they could once they received a dose of Dihexa. For those that don't know, while scopolamine, also known as hyoscine, burundanga, and 'devils breath', has medicinal uses such as anesthesia, but it is most commonly known for its use as a truth serum, a hallucinogen, and by criminals who want to render their victims able to walk around but unconscious with no memory of events. As you can imagine, they use this drug to empty the victims bank accounts and other nefarious activities.

Most of the sites’ users are based in Spain and Europe, but we found evidence of users across the world, including the United States... The database, containing months-worth of daily logs of the site activities, was left without a password for weeks. Those logs included detailed records of when users logged in — including usernames and sometimes their user-agents and IP addresses, which can be used to identify users. The logs also included users’ private chat messages with other users, as well as promotional emails they were receiving from the various sites. The logs even included failed login attempts, storing usernames and passwords in plaintext.
