To vote by absentee ballot in Alabama, the state requires residents to send a copy of a photo ID and mandates that the ballot must be either signed by two witnesses or notarized. However, in a 5-4 vote along ideological lines, the Supreme Court blocked the ruling until at least an appeals process occurs. The ruling will have a direct effect on the state's July 14 Republican Senate primary runoff election.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Deputy Commissioner Mike Duheme declined to name the suspect or talk about his motivation... Police said the man crashed his truck through the gate at 6:30 a.m. Thursday. The truck was disabled and the suspect was spotted with a rifle before being contained in a greenhouse on the sprawling property. Police began talking to him and he was arrested two hours later.

He also appealed to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for financial assistance to help cover the cost of debris removal, emergency measures and damage to public buildings and equipment. “We’re asking our federal partners to step up and help our communities recover,” he said.

VP NOMINATION INCOMING?

On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Michael Sherwin said that U.S. attorney’s offices have charged 150 cases related to property destruction and other crimes, and there have been hundreds of other cases brought on local charges through federal assistance with local officials in relation to recent violence in the country.

Police said demonstrators threw items at officers and started a fire inside the courthouse... Some demonstrators also used slingshots to launch large rocks, full cans and bottles at officers... When demonstrators didn't move, officers began to disperse the crowd and demonstrators continued to throw rocks, cans and fireworks at the officers. One person threw an open pocketknife at an officer, according to police.

In addition, Prince Andrew, who has been nudged further and further toward the center of the Epstein/Maxwell controversy, is "among those very worried" about what she might reveal, the report says. "She's going to cooperate and be very important. Andrew is definitely, definitely concerned," Hoffenberg said.

This should be an equal rights issue in terms of not restricting the speech of one group in favor of another.

Jillian Wuestenberg, 32, and Eric Wuestenberg, 42, were charged Thursday with felonious assault, Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper said in a release. It was not immediately clear when they would be arraigned or if they have attorneys who could comment on the allegations.
