“Brother Noah X” Rams Car Into a Security Barricade Outside of The U.S. Capitol Building…
***UPDATE: Suspect was identified as 25-year-old Noah Green, a follower of the Nation of Islam and referred to himself as “Brother Noah X.” In a facebook post (see bottom of this article) he mentioned that he was suffering from “side effects of drugs I was intaking unknowingly”.
A couple of stretchers were seen being brought out after a car rammed right into a security barricade at the US capitol building. Text messages circulating told staff that they should remain indoors as no entry or exit is permitted, stay away from exterior windows, and seek cover. Two officers were injured during the attack. The suspect has been identified as Noah Green, and has been declared dead.
The New York Post captured a Facebook post before it was taken down which read:
“I was on the right track and everything I had planned was coming into existence. It required long hours, lots of studying, and exercise to keep me balanced while experiencing an array of concerning symptoms along the path (I believe to be side effects of drugs I was intaking unknowingly),” he wrote on March 17, signing the message Brother Noah X.
“However, the path has been thwarted, as Allah (God) has chosen me for other things. Throughout life I have set goals, attained them, set higher ones, and then been required to sacrifice those things,” he continued.
According to The Post, one of the officers attacked died while the other injured officer is being treated at a local hospital.
