ISRAEL: The Temple Mount Is On Fire Near Aqsa Mosque Amid Israeli and Palestinian Clashes…

Clashes between Israelis and Palestinians intensified over the weekend after weeks of heightened tensions throughout the region between Israeli police and Palestinian protestors.

Now the infamous Temple Mount in Jerusalem, which is sacred to both Jews and Muslims, is on fire. Al-Aqsa Mosque, the nearly 1000-year old mosque and third holiest site in Islam, sits on top the Temple Mount while fire broke out next to it.

Israeli press states that things really kicked off after Palestinian terror groups fired “massive barrages of rockets at Israel”, including seven projectiles aimed at Jerusalem, which instigated “retaliatory airstrikes” that “killed at least 20 people, including nine minors”.

From the perspective of the Muslim community, Qatar chimed in and insisted that Israel is expanding its “ethnic cleansing of Palestinians” as forced evictions took place over the weekend while posing “a risk to indigenous families” in Jerusalem’s Sheikh Jarrah. They say that Israel has continued its persecution of Palestinians during “Laylat Al-Qadr, one of the holiest nights of the fasting month of Ramadan, as tens of thousands of Muslims prayed at the Al-Aqsa Mosque”.

On another note, Jewish religious leaders claim the “Messiah” is not supposed to come until the Third Temple is rebuilt. An accidental fire burning down the mosque would certainly make it ‘unintentionally unfold’. Biblical prophecy also states the Antichrist will attempt to proclaim himself the true Messiah within the Holy Temple.
