It’s a dark day for Canada. RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) have arrested People’s Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier. For “violating” public health orders in Manitoba. It’s beyond the pale.
What happened to @MaximeBernier is a shameful attack on our Charter freedoms & democracy.
Arresting a political leader for holding a rally is asinine, & something you'd expect from an authoritarian state.
