Customers should be cautious about a new text message phishing scam that at first glance looks to be about a FedEx package delivery, the company said. Some people around the country have received a text message that appears to show a "tracking code" from the package delivery company and prompts the user to enter their "delivery preferences." The link to set those "preferences" would then take a recipient to a fraudulent, scammer-operated site and would attempt to separate the victim from personal information and money.

The group Avaaz, left-leaning non-profit group, published a report on January 16th on its website that claims YouTube is “profiting by broadcasting misinformation” to millions of people by giving climate denial videos too much prominence... Regardless of the facts or scientific evidence revealed in the videos, if one doesn’t submit to the religion of climate change, they will be silenced if Avaaz has anything to do about it...

A new study from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School finds that Sen. Bernie Sanders' proposed wealth tax on the richest Americans will generate $1 trillion to $1.5 trillion less than what the campaign claims. The results, if accurate, could undercut the critical funding needed to support his plans to develop public health care, education and hosts of other government-back programs. The analysis also found that former Vice President Joe Biden's plan would raise $600 billion to $900 billion less than his campaign estimates.

About 11 million TV viewers watched the start of the U.S. Senate impeachment trial of President Donald Trump on Tuesday when lawmakers sparred for hours over witnesses and records for the historic proceedings, according to Nielsen ratings data. The total fell short of the roughly 13.8 million viewers across 10 broadcast and cable television networks who tuned in last November for the first day of the House of Representatives impeachment inquiry into Trump.

The polling revealed other interesting data points, including that Sanders leads fellow progressive Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) over liberal Democrats by 33% to 19% and leads Biden with voters of color by 30% to 27%...
