Thousands of demonstrators gathered in London today for a mass rally against COVID-19 restrictions. There is a clear contrast of the way authorities handled the BLM events of the past vs today’s event by anti-COVID-19 protesters in Sadiq Khan’s London.
What started out as peaceful, became chaos after police took action against demonstrators – injuring and arresting many of them. Many demonstrators chanted “Take off your mask”, while others shouted at the cops “Choose your side”. Some signs read: “When tyranny becomes law, resistance becomes duty”.
The people of London have had enough. The activists have already announced another event on Sunday in Hyde Park called “People’s Network and Family Picnic”.
