The Navy’s “Experimental Explosion” Off Florida Coast Registered As M3.9 earthquake…
According to jacksonville.com, the 10,000-pound charge (or 40,000, depending on who the source is) took place 100 miles off the coast of Daytona Beach, where 68 people reportedly felt the force of the blast. This blast took place on Saturday, but it’s not the first one. There was another experimental explosion that registered as an 3.7 magnitude earthquake 100 miles off Flagler Beach on June 10.
