The RESTRICT ACT: A uniparty bill introduced in the Senate could be another PATRIOT ACT…
So what happens if you are designated a national security threat? What can they access of yours to confirm it? Everything.
Notice the preemptive attack on quantum encryption in there, too. pic.twitter.com/rXMY8v8lOI— Mises Caucus (@LPMisesCaucus) March 26, 2023
If you recall from before, “Foreign Individuals” can now also be US citizens that are deemed a national security threat. Once designated, the bill grants authority to enforce any action deemed necessary to mitigate the threat, with no due process and few limits on punishments. pic.twitter.com/8IreN90m88

This act also grants unlimited hiring power to positions of enforcement, unlimited funds with little or no review and immunity to FOIA. pic.twitter.com/TTtfIvdIEZ

So this bill that claims to protect US interests from Foreign entities: allows the feds to classify anyone they deem is a security threat, even US citizens as foreign individuals and it gives unlimited funds, unlimited hiring, no due process and is immune to FOIA. wtf…

This is a very bad bill! We need to do everything we can to stop this overreach. White House has sent out a statement encouraging it to pass. https://t.co/I0Udx1wsaY

It’s the framing being constructed atop Bush’s Patriot Act, which when completed will be the most efficient and oppressive control/surveillance mechanism on earth. The #uniparty is the general contractor. The serfdom pays for it all with zero recourse. Land if the free hahah
