Just a few days ago, in a classic authoritarian move, Ontario gave police the authority to stop people, vehicles, and ask their reasons for leaving their homes.

In response to that, last night, Canadians in Niagara Falls were signaling for help at the US/Canada border using lights to Morse Code S.O.S. with an upside down Canadian flag. An upside down flag is a universal signal of distress. The man in the video says they are now hostages in their own province.
