Austria’s lockdown of the unvaccinated – the first in the EU – was met with thousands of protestors who gathered outside the chancellery. Previously, the unvaccinated were already banned from restaurants, hotels, and cultural venues. About 65% of Austria’s almost nine million people are vaccinated, below the EU average of 67%. Other European Govts are also eyeing curbs with the Netherlands opting for partial lockdown.
