The following interview was from Jan 4th, but somehow missed it. Col. Douglas McGregor has asserted that the US is not capable of waging a war in Europe against Russian forces even with NATO’s help. He estimates that only 80,000 of the US’s 120,000 combat troops are deployable.
Why? Because people are leaving the military in droves, hence why you’re seeing $50,000 sign-up bonuses being offered to attract new recruits. Another reason he emphasized was that only one-third of 18-to-24 year olds are qualified to serve. The other two-thirds are weak in mind and body, criminals, or drug addicts.
He further stated that we would be in big trouble if we had to fight a two-front war against China and Russia.
