Washington’s Governor Jay Inslee proposes law that would put lawmakers behind bars for questioning election results…

Under the proposed law, it would be a crime for any official to question the outcome of any election; local or statewide. Jay Inslee believes that by passing this law, events similar to what happened in Washington D.C. on January 6th, 2021, will be stopped in Washington State.

Making it unlawful for public officials and candidates to knowingly make false statements and claims regarding the election process or results of elections conducted within the state.
