The US Department of Homeland Security has published a new proposed rule that would make people ineligible for US citizenship if their credit-scores were poor.

Notionally, the rule-change is meant to prevent immigrants from becoming burdens on the welfare system (migrants do not make disproportionate use of any public welfare system).

Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector stopped several criminal aliens and three gang members from making their way successfully into the U.S. interior. Those arrested included two child rapists, two killers, a member of the 18th Street gang and two MS-13 gang members.

The civil rights group is accusing police of targeting people of color when investigating gang violence, alleging Boston Police's system used to monitor gang members racially profiles, targets and investigates a disproportionate number of black and brown people who may not even belong to a gang.

Commissioner William Gross took to Facebook to express his discontent with ACLU "paper warriors," citing the civil rights advocates' lack of consideration for the efforts already underway to curb the issues at hand.

"How would they know, they are never in the streets but always hiding and waiting for a slow news day to justify their existence," Gross wrote on Facebook.

Last week we reported on the death of Senator José R. Peralta, but as we revisited the story, it seems the mainstream media are carefully avoiding reporting the obvious link with the flu-shot vaccine that he received and promoted. We have to admit though, we missed this as well.

According to the NY Times article above, Senator Peralta's director of communications, Chris Sosa said “He just thought he was having symptoms related to getting the flu shot.”. It seems the mainstream media discusses the Senator having a septic shock, but fail to make an obvious link with the flu shot which triggered it. Instead, it seems that if he had the flu or measles, they would use the story to drum for more vaccines.

The American Cancer Society (ACS) has set an aggressive goal to achieve an 80 percent uptake rate among American children with two doses human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine by 2026. To gain that coverage, 14 million more preteen children would need to complete the two-dose series, for a total of 57.62 million doses above and beyond the number of vaccinations given to date.

Migrants living in a makeshift shelter in Tijuana made a run for the San Ysidro border crossing, after reportedly becoming fed up with conditions, and walked approximately half a mile in an attempt to confront US authorities with asylum requests. After police blocked a bridge, the migrants crossed the Tijuana River on foot to approach the port.

Following the clash, US Customs and Border Protection closed all north and southbound vehicle traffic, along with pedestrian crossings at the port of entry.

Yuma Sector Border Agents discovered footprints east of the Andrade port of entry Friday around 5:45 p.m., and suspected someone had illegally crossed the border. Agents called for assistance from CBP Air and a Marine helicopter.

Agents tracked the footprints for almost a mile before they located the suspected man near a tree. The man then scaled the tree, set it on fire and started throwing rocks at both the agents and helicopter. The agents and helicopter were not struck.

The man came down from the tree and was taken into custody.
