QPOLL: Majority of Americans want end to Russia probe — including 1/3 of Democrats!
August 11, 2018
Overall, more than half of respondents wanted special counsel Robert Mueller to end the probe into Russian meddling; nearly a third do not, and 18% are not sure. Majories and pluralities of most demographics agreed that it was time for Mueller to wrap up his investigation.
Of course, Trump’s base supported this idea the most – men (56% yes/31% no), voters age 50-64 (61% yes/28% no), voters who earn more than $150k (59% yes/34% no), NASCAR fans (67% yes/16% no), and Walmart shoppers (61% yes/26% no).
But interestingly, even groups sympathetic to democrats felt it was time to end the probe. Pluralities of younger Millennials age 18-29 (36% yes/31% no), older Millennials age 25-34 (43% yes/31% no), Hispanics (50% yes/26% no), women (49% yes/28% no), and Independents (47% yes/29% no) felt it’s time for Mueller to wrap up his probe.
Shockingly, a third of democrats wanted the probe to end (32% yes/49% no)!

new moon supermoon causes Partial solar eclipse on August 11…
August 11, 2018
It’s visible in the Arctic, far-northeastern Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Scandinavia, and much of Asia (north and east). The animation below shows where the eclipse is taking place.
This same new moon, by the way – which crosses the sky with the sun during the day – is leaving night skies dark this weekend for the annual Perseid meteor shower. With no moon up after dark, the Perseids should be awesome this year!

QCOMMIEFORNIA: California BANS MEN from being company board members…
August 11, 2018
California Legislature Wants To Force ‘Gender Diversity’ on Every Corporate Board.
California’s Democrat-dominated legislature is moving to require “gender diversity” on the boards of publicly-held companies, which would have to appoint individuals self-identifying as female.
In May, the California State Senate passed SB 826 on a party-line vote. The bill mandates that by the last day of 2019, California’s 445 publicly-held companies must pay a fine unless they have at least one female — defined as “an individual who self-identifies her gender as a woman, without regard to the individual’s designated sex at birth.”Deep state panic? Help is on the way for high drug prices…
August 11, 2018
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) are focused on four major problems in drug markets.
- Drug manufacturers rapidly increasing the list prices of drugs over the last couple of decades, sometimes even doubling or tripling prices.
- Government programs and private payers do not always have all the tools they need to negotiate more reasonable prices.
- Many Americans, especially our seniors, face high out-of-pocket costs for the drugs they need, because out-of-pocket costs are typically calculated based on drugs’ sky-high list prices.
- Foreign countries and their government-run health-care systems bully our drug manufacturers into unrealistically low prices, allowing other countries to freeload off of American innovation.
