Quoting the report, he said “criminal aliens” make up 21 percent of those in the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) custody and 38 percent of those in Marshals custody.

Packages of Chewy Chips Ahoy! cookies sold at Walmart and other retailers nationwide are being recalled because they many contain an "unexpected solidified ingredient." Nabisco parent Mondelēz Global issued the recall Tuesday after receiving reports of "potential adverse health effects," it said in its recall notice.
A company spokesperson said in an email to CBS MoneyWatch that cornstarch used to make the cookies sometimes did not properly mix and then solidified in the baking process.

Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies say they first came to know about Harvey Joseph Fountain’s alleged crimes that date back to the 1970s and continued through to early 1980s after receiving a tip on April 1.
After an investigation, detectives uncovered enough evidence that supported the allegations that he had committed sexual crimes on minors at various locations in the Pineville area. This evidence provided sufficient probable cause for Fountain’s arrest.
Group of 360 Central Americans Enters Near Ajo

Border Patrol camera operators spotted the mass of people after multiple buses arrived south of the U.S.-Mexico border approximately 14 miles west of the Port of Lukeville. Border Patrol agents watched as the group exited the buses and walked under the vehicle barrier that sits on the international boundary.
The group, consisting of 360 individuals, mostly family units from Central America, was similar to previous groups that have recently crossed in this remote area. Ajo Border Patrol agents quickly worked to determine if any members of the group needed medical attention, and then began to transport the group for processing.

Attorney General Bill Barr decided Tuesday that asylum seekers who meet the “credible fear” threshold are no longer eligible to be released on bond, stymying at least one method illegal immigrants use to gain access to the United States.
The new rule will apply to all asylum seekers who demonstrate “credible fear” in their home countries, regardless if they turned themselves in at ports of entry or if they were detained between the ports.
