NBC Universal still plans to release the controversial movie “The Hunt” as scheduled on September 27 despite significant backlash over the film that depicts privileged vacationers hunting “deplorables” for sport... NBC’s Universal Pictures, which shares parent company Comcast with NBC News and MSNBC, told Fox News on Wednesday that the movie’s marketing campaign would be “temporarily paused” on the heels tragic mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio. Universal Pictures declined further comment on Thursday... The Hollywood Reporter reported on Tuesday that the “violent, R-rated film from producer Jason Blum's Blumhouse follows a dozen MAGA types who wake up in a clearing and realize they are being stalked for sport by elite liberals”... The movie has caused outrage, with conservatives calling it everything from “political violence” to “sick murder fantasies about right-wingers.”

Embarrassing! The black hand was caught red-handed! Leaders of "HK independence" organization met with Julie Eadeh of US Consulate General in HK. She is a subversion expert at the State Department. There were reports suggesting Julie Eadeh is a trained subversion expert at the US consulate in Hong Kong. Her meeting with HK protesters would be evidence of US inciting and instigating the riots in Hong Kong. Is she under the direct order of former CIA chief Mike Pompeo? pic.twitter.com/jHazIpMM4K

Family discovers fertility clinic used the wrong sperm to conceive their daughter, now 24….
August 8, 2019
A lawsuit was filed on Wednesday against Cincinnati's Institute for Reproductive Health, The Christ Hospital and Ovation Fertility claims another man's sperm was used to create the embryo. Attorneys for Peiffer Wolf Carr & Kane, who are representing the family, says Rebecca's biological father may actually be a doctor at The Christ Hospital... In 1993, the Cartellones went to the Institute of Reproductive Health after struggling to conceive. After considering their options, decided to undergo in vitro fertilization. Dr Sherif Awadalla, the medical director of the institute's medical director, retrieved eggs from Jennifer and promised to fertilize them with Cartellone's sperm... For Christmas 2018, Rebecca, now 24, gifted her family at-home DNA test kits from Ancestry.com. The results came back in February showing that Rebecca shared none of her father's genetic make-up. A separate paternity test confirmed the two were not related in March.

Dayton gunman Connor Betts' depraved appetite for murder, drugs and Satanism is laid bare in series of chilling journal entries obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com. The warped loner, 24, declares himself a servant of 'evil incarnate' and rants about everything from schizophrenia to satanic rituals and massacres... The frightening pages were revealed by a former friend who paints a confounding picture of Betts as a frequent methamphetamine smoker who played violent video games - but was never a racist or interested in weapons... As cops search for a motive, friends and acquaintances have come forward to speak of a troubled young man whose 'dark thoughts' scared even himself.
Judge greenlights libel suit against NPR over Seth Rich reports…
August 8, 2019
A federal judge has rejected National Public Radio’s bid to dismiss a Texas investment adviser’s libel suit over news reports about conspiracy theories surrounding the death of a Democratic National Committee staffer during the 2016 campaign.
Judge Amos Mazzant of U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas ruled Wednesday that the $57 million suit brought by Ed Butowsky makes plausible claims that the network may be liable for defamation for a series of online stories about Butowsky’s role in publicizing assertions that the murdered DNC staffer, Seth Rich, may have been involved in leaking Democratic emails.

Former kyrgyzstan President Detained After Second Raid…
August 8, 2019
Interfax is reporting that the former president has been detained after a second raid, echoed by local media outlets stating the former president has surrendered. On Wednesday evening, Kyrgyz special forces attempted to detain Atambayev, who has been ignoring multiple subpoenas from the Interior Ministry. The raid went poorly, with the former president’s supporters rushing to his defense. The State National Security Committee (SCNS or GKNB) released a statement saying that its forces were equipped with rubber bullets, but Atambayev’s supporters fired back with weapons of their own. The fighting left one dead from a gunshot wound... and another senior police official in a coma. Eighty sustained injuries, according to Health Ministry officials. Atambayev’s supporters also took half a dozen special forces troops hostage, releasing them late in the day on August 8.
Yang Qualifies for Next Democratic Debate, Gabbard and de Blasio Among Those Who Haven’t Qualified…
August 8, 2019
The Monmouth University poll surveyed likely Iowa primary voters and gave Yang the fourth poll he needed to qualify for the September debate. Yang’s campaign said he already met the number of unique donors, 130,000, that the Democratic National Committee stipulated for candidates to be allowed on stage. Yang’s qualification came after Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) recently became the eighth person to qualify. The other seven are: former Vice President Joe Biden, South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas), and Senators Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).
A number of better-known candidates, including a slew of officeholders, have thus far failed to meet at least one of the benchmarks for the next round of debates. That includes New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (R-Hawaii), and former Obama administration official Julian Castro. The DNC announced that candidates will need to receive 2 percent or more support in at least four national polls or polls in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and/or Nevada.
WTF is Boeing on? Not just customer databases lying around on the web. 787 jetliner code, too, security bugs and all…
August 8, 2019
A Black Hat presentation on how to potentially hijack a 787 – by exploiting bugs found in internal code left lying around on a public-facing server – was last night slammed as "irresponsible and misleading" by Boeing.
[...]
During his talk, Santamarta acknowledged he had no way of proving he could actually commandeer the flight control systems via the holes he found in the crew-facing software. For one thing, he couldn’t persuade Boeing to let him loose on a real passenger jet.
“We have confirmed the vulnerabilities, but not that they are exploitable, so we are presenting why we think they are,” he said. “We have got very limited data, so it’s impossible to say if the mitigation factors Boeing say they have work. We offer them our assistance.”...CNN: El Paso suspect’s mother called police concerned about gun…

Poll: Majority of Blacks, Hispanics Support Anti-Illegal Immigration 2020 Candidates…
August 8, 2019
The latest Harvard/Harris Poll reveals that about 70 percent, or seven-in-ten, U.S. voters said they would be more likely to support a 2020 presidential candidate who stands for “strengthing our border to reduce illegal immigration” to the country. Only 30 percent of U.S. voters said they would be less likely to support a 2020 presidential candidate who supported reducing illegal immigration. Support for reducing illegal immigration is vastly popularly among swing voters, about 69 percent of whom said they would be more likely to back a candidate like President Trump in the 2020 election because of his stance against illegal immigration. Similarly, voters across racial lines said they would be more likely to support a 2020 presidential candidate that wants to reduce illegal immigration. Roughly 63 percent of black Americans and 61 percent of Hispanic Americans said they would be more likely to support an anti-illegal immigration presidential candidate.
