Millions of Americans’ medical images and data including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, are available on the Internet…
September 17, 2019
The records cover more than 5 million patients in the United States and millions more around the world. In some cases, a snoop could use free software programs—or just a typical Web browser—to view the images and private data, an investigation by ProPublica and the German broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk found. We identified 187 servers—computers that are used to store and retrieve medical data—in the US that were unprotected by passwords or basic security precautions. The computer systems, from Florida to California, are used in doctors' offices, medical-imaging centers, and mobile X-ray services. The insecure servers we uncovered add to a growing list of medical records systems that have been compromised in recent years.

U.S. And Russia Battle It Out Over This Huge Iraqi Gas Field…
September 17, 2019
With the U.S, Russia, and China all jostling for position in Iraq’s oil and gas industry both north and south, Iraq’s oil ministry last week reiterated its desire to have one or more foreign partners in the Mansuriya gas field. Situated in Diyala province, close to the Iran border, Mansuriya is estimated to hold around 4.6 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, with plateau production projected at about 325 million standard cubic feet per day. For the U.S., encouraging Iraq to optimise its gas flows so that it reduces its dependency for power from Iran is the key consideration.

For Russia... Securing oil and gas contracts across all of Iraq will allow Russia to establish an unassailable political sway across the entire Shia crescent of power in the Middle East, stretching from Syria through Lebanon (by dint of Iran), Jordan, Iraq (also helped by Iran), Iran itself, and Yemen (via Iran)...Genetically-modified mosquito apocalypse plan BACKFIRES spectacularly in Brazil. Denver Communists Use Facebook to Threaten ICE Facility…
September 17, 2019
The group, along with “Abolish ICE Denver,” is planning a protest outside the home of local ICE warden Johnny Choate. Abolish ICE Denver recently used Facebook to call on its activists to assemble in Choate’s neighborhood on Thursday, September 19. The far-left organizations have not concealed their intentions, labeling the protest “Confront La Migra Where They Live.” On the event page for the protest, the far-left activists state their intention to “show up en masse” and “disrupt the day-to-day lives” of their targets. Despite the stated intention of the extremist groups to harass ICE employees and contractors in their homes, Facebook has so far done nothing to stop them from using its platform to plan their harassment.
