San Francisco homeless crisis prompts neighborhood to put boulders on sidewalk to deter campers…
September 24, 2019
A residential side street in San Francisco now resembles a scene out of the rocky West after a group of neighbors banded together to place about two dozen boulders along the sidewalk to try and deter homeless people from camping out amid the city's ongoing crisis. Neighbors along Clinton Park in the city's Mission Dolores neighborhood said the rocks are meant to keep drug users from having a space to shoot up as they camp out overnight. "They'll shoot up and stay overnight," neighbor David Smith-Tan told KTVU. "A bunch of my neighbors, we all chipped in a few hundred dollars and I guess this is what they came up with."

Researchers discover hidden continent Greater Adria in the Mediterranean…
September 24, 2019
Dubbed "Greater Adria" by its founders at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, the missing piece of continental crust seemingly separated from North Africa and lodged itself under Southern Europe. While most of the continent is underwater, much of the land mass's sedimentary pieces were scraped off during its great migration. Those scrapings now make up European mountain belts, including parts of the Alps, Greece and Turkey.
Immigrants afraid of Trump’s ‘public charge’ rule are dropping food stamps, MediCal…
September 24, 2019
Last month, Yuri sat in her dining room in San Jose, turned on the T.V., and heard something that made her sit up straight and sent her mind racing. The Trump administration, the newscaster announced, had just published a new rule that could make it harder for immigrants to get a green card if they used, or were likely to use, public government benefits like food stamps or Medicaid. Yuri, who came to the United States from Michoacán, Mexico, was enrolled in CalFresh, California’s food stamp program, for her 7 children, who range in age from just over a month to 15 and who all were born in this country... She decided to terminate food stamps for her kids and to dis-enroll herself from MediCal, despite some health complications she said accompanied her latest pregnancy.

Across California, the looming change in what is known as the “public charge” rule is sowing confusion and fear within the immigrant community, causing many people to abandon programs they need for fear of retaliation from immigration authorities, according to nearly two dozen interviews with health care providers, lawyers, nonprofit organizations, and social service agencies. The new rule could affect more than 2 million Californians...An0maly On Television Dropping Facts On Climate Protests..

Trump skips UN climate summit. Another shout-out to our president for having the common sense to ignore these clowns…
September 24, 2019
The Paris climate accord was a pathetic failure, same as the Kyoto accords, because the bigfoot polluters, China and India, certainly weren't going to stick their necks out on this. What's more, greenie European countries such as Germany never bothered to get their emissions down, either, largely due to their rejection of fracking and nuclear power... That's right: the loudest proponents of greenhouse gas agreements are the biggest slackers on following their requirements. Throwing the U.N. into this pathetic record of failure — it can't even run a credible peacekeeping operation without a new pedophile scandal — is pretty much piling failure upon failure.
[...]
This points to the wisdom of Trump's refusal to even bother with this United Nations clown show. It's a new takeover bid from unelected leftist bureaucrats to rule the U.S., which has the most pristine record on climate emissions anyway...With 8ch down, it seems qanon has been losing lots of mindshare…

Old lady discovers Renaissance masterpiece in her kitchen…
September 24, 2019
An early Renaissance masterpiece by the Florentine master Cimabue has been discovered in an old lady's kitchen in a town near Paris... "Christ Mocked", by the 13th-century artist who taught Giotto, is estimated to be worth between four and six million euros ($4.3 million $6.6 million), according to the Old Masters specialists Turquin.
They said the work was owned by an old lady in the northern French town of Compiegne, who had it hanging between her kitchen and her sitting room. It was directly above a hotplate for cooking food...

September 24, 2019
The olive branch to hackers marks a huge about-face for the industry, which last week asked for feedback from researchers and companies about the best ways to let outsiders vet their security. They've long argued that researchers, by exposing security flaws, could give a roadmap to foreign hackers intent on compromising the 2020 contest. Now they're saying the threat of Russian hacking and disinformation is too severe for the security of election systems to be treated as a private matter to be managed behind closed doors...

September 24, 2019
The United Kingdom's high court has dealt a stunning blow to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, ruling Tuesday that his five-week suspension of Parliament amid a debate over Brexit was illegal. Despite Johnson calling it a routine closure of Parliament, the unanimous Supreme Court declared his order “void and of no effect.” The judges ruled that Johnson’s Conservative government instead shut down lawmakers in an effort to squelch debate on Britain’s divorce from the European Union... The 11-judge panel's decision said that it is up to Parliament to decide what to do next.

September 24, 2019
There are more than 56,000 outstanding warrants in New Orleans's Municipal Court, dating to 2002, according to city data. A staggering 1 of 7 adults in the country's 50th-largest city have a warrant out for their arrest. Typically, the crime is failing to appear for scheduled court dates for minor, nonviolent offenses that do not carry a jail sentence, including panhandling and fishing without a license. (Two notable exceptions are battery and domestic abuse, which account for roughly 6 percent of all the warrants.)
Tekashi 6ix9ine May Be Eligible For Witness Protection After Testimony…
September 24, 2019
For three days Tekashi 6ix 9ine was the hottest trending topic on social media not because he released new music, but because he sang like a bird in court, offering detailed testimony against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, a gang he once publically swore allegiance too.
Now Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, must deal with the consequences that come with "snitching." By November 2018 Tekashi was done with Nine Trey stating in court: "I was tired of being extorted."...
This Tekashi news is pretty big. This character is bringing down a fairly large organization tied to big names. We'll keep dropping more info as it comes in.
