Scientists in southwest China’s Yunnan province have cloned what they called the “Sherlock Holmes of police dogs” in a programme they hope will help cut training times and costs for police dogs, state media reported on Wednesday.
The dog, named Kunxun, was cloned from a police sniffer dog by the Beijing-based Sinogene Biotechnology Company and the Yunnan Agricultural University, with support from the Ministry of Public Security, the state-owned tabloid Global Times reported.
Researchers Levitate Objects with Light…
March 20, 2019
Researchers at Caltech have designed a way to levitate and propel objects using only light, by creating specific nanoscale patterning on the objects' surfaces.
[...]
With this new research, objects of many different shapes and sizes—from micrometers to meters—could be manipulated with a light beam. The key is to create specific nanoscale patterns on an object's surface. This patterning interacts with light in such a way that the object can right itself when perturbed, creating a restoring torque to keep it in the light beam. Thus, rather than requiring highly focused laser beams, the objects' patterning is designed to "encode" their own stability. The light source can also be millions of miles away.If you think about it, this is probably how the pyramids were built. Technology so advanced, yet so simple. Of course there are thousands of theories out there, like one of them being using water or sound to lift the blocks, but this is similar in approach.
Lawsuit accusing Trump of violating Constitution gets hostile reception…
March 20, 2019
The uphill battle the suit faces was evident before the arguments even began Tuesday morning when it was revealed that all three 4th Circuit Court of Appeals judges assigned to the case are GOP appointees, including two of the court’s most conservative jurists.
One of those judges suggested that the suit could be a precursor to attempting to drive the president from office through impeachment. And two of the judges came close to accusing the Maryland-based district court judge handling the suit, Clinton-appointee Peter Messitte, of impropriety for trying to engineer the challenge rather than responding to legal issues presented to him by the officials who brought the suit: the attorneys general of Maryland and Washington, D.C.

You might want to consider buying organic Strawberries, Spinach, and Kale as they top the list of having the most glyphosate, while you could probably get away with eating conventional Pineapples, Sweet Corn, and Avocados since they have the lowest levels.
