According to astronomy website EarthSky.org, a full moon has not landed this close to the first day of spring since the year 2000, and the two celestial events won’t happen less than a day apart again until 2030.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) announced that it removed two foreign nationals wanted for violent crimes in their home countries. This included a Salvadoran national wanted in his home country for aggravated murder and affiliation with criminal organizations and a Guatemalan national wanted in his home country for violence against a woman.

Nationally syndicated radio show host and National Rifle Association (NRA) spokeswoman Dana Loesch slammed the decision to honor CNN with an award for a televised town hall in which she was heckled, days after the mass shooting at a Parkland, Fla., high school last year.
On Tuesday, CNN announced that it had received the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Television Political Journalism for its “Parkland Town Hall,” held after the Feb. 14, 2018, massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High. The University of Southern California's Norman Lear Center commended the liberal network for a “compelling and powerful forum” and praised CNN anchor Jake Tapper for offering a “generous space” for the Parkland students, politicians, and the NRA representative, adding that the town hall helped “advance the national conversation on gun control and violence.”

Justice Democrats, a federal PAC that helped Ocasio-Cortez get elected to Congress last year, quietly filed corporate paperwork removing Ocasio-Cortez as one of the group’s “governors” in Washington, D.C., on Mar. 15, the Daily Caller reported on Monday.
The move came just days after campaign finance lawyers told the Daily Caller that Ocasio-Cortez’s position as a governor of Justice Democrats could be a legal conflict because the PAC also supported her congressional bid.

"Troll slayer" and journalist Lyudmila Savchuk when undercover at a troll factory for two and a half months to see how it works. Savchuk found that the organization was broken up into departments: "news division," the "social media seeders", and a group dedicated to producing visual memes known as "demotivators." The operation was run by a local restauranteur who was placed under US sanctions for attempting to interfere with US elections. Savchuk believed her work would help Facebook understand how its platform could be gamed, but no longer believes the fight against trolls is winnable.

Gillibrand’s town hall, by comparison, garnered only 1.2 million viewers and 224,000 in the key age range.
Then, at 9 p.m. EST, CNN hosted a town hall with Warren in Mississippi, which was moderated by Jake Tapper. Warren’s town hall drew even fewer viewers than her presidential opponent, with only 1.09 million viewers watching. CNN and Warren did manage to barely beat out MSNBC and Gillibrand in the target audience, with 273,000 people aged 25-54 tuning in.
Like Carlson, Hannity’s show on Monday night more than doubled Warren in total audience, with 2.9 million viewers and 494,000 in the 25-54 target audience.

The man was apprehended by Border Patrol agents in the pre-dawn hours Sunday near the Bridge of the Americas, according to a CBP news release. He was held for illegal re-entry after a prior deportation.

The Palm Beach State Attorney’s Office confirmed Tuesday it has offered Kraft and 24 other men charged with soliciting prostitution the standard diversion program offered to first-time offenders. The men must concede they would be found guilty, perform 100 hours community service, attend a class on the dangers of prostitution and pay $5,000 per count, spokesman Mike Edmondon said. Kraft was charged with two counts last month.
In return, the charges of misdemeanor soliciting prostitution would be dropped. Edmondson said none have accepted so far.

A DNA forensic investigation published this month by two British researchers in the Journal of Forensic Science identifies Aaron Kosminski, a 23-year-old Polish barber and prime suspect at the time, as the likely killer.
The "semen stains match the sequences of one of the main police suspects, Aaron Kosminski," said the study authored by Jari Louhelainen of Liverpool John Moores University and David Miller of the University of Leeds.
