After an hour of oral arguments... Judge Edgardo Ramos ruled the subpoenas to Deutsche Bank and Capital One have "a legitimate legislative purpose," and that Trump was unlikely to prevail in a lawsuit to quash the requests... Himes sits on both the Intelligence and Financial Services Committees, while Velazquez sits on Financial Services.

Employees at the U.S. Department of Agriculture are quitting at a rapid pace as Secretary Sonny Perdue prepares to move forward with plans to relocate two offices far outside the Washington, D.C., Beltway…
May 24, 2019
Perdue added: “We will be placing important USDA resources closer to many stakeholders, most of whom live and work far from Washington, D.C. We will be saving money for the taxpayers and improving our ability to retain more employees in the long run.”...
Sounds like the ones that are quiting were more in it for the pay and east coast lifestyle than anything else. It's almost as if many USDA jobs were just given out as favors by certain people in DC. This is truely Draining The Swamp. Conservatives have been saying for years "You can't get rid of government employees". Trump found the loophole.
Very good and smart by Perdue. Move the offices closer to where the meat and vegetables are, so people who actually know about agriculture can work there. What a brilliant way to cut the fat.
They should do the same with Congress.
