The feds found dozens of diamonds, piles of cash and a fake passport with Jeffrey Epstein’s photo stashed in a safe at the convicted pedophile’s Upper East Side townhouse, they said Monday. Prosecutors told a Manhattan federal judge about the newly revealed contents of the safe — which also held a trove of lewd photos of young women — as they argued against giving Epstein bail at least partly because of his immense financial means.

One detail that I wanted to double check before sending tweet:

Various reporters, including me, heard prosecutors say passport listed residence as Saudi Arabia, but this appears to be distinct from issuing country. I'll confirm once transcript arrives.

The administrator also shed light on what he believed were the reasons the space program had been prevented from returning to the moon and landing people on Mars... "There's two risks. There's technical risk and there's political risk. We would be on the moon right now if it weren't for the political risk. We would be on Mars, quite frankly, by now had it not been for the political risk," Bridenstine said, adding that funding for the space program was also an issue.

Axios reported on the poll Sunday. It is apparently “circulating” among “top Democrats,” and involved “1,003 likely general-election voters who are white and have two years or less of college education.” The website did not provide the raw data or polling firm name.

According to Axios (original emphasis):

Ocasio-Cortez was recognized by 74% of voters in the poll; 22% had a favorable view.
Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota — another member of The Squad — was recognized by 53% of the voters; 9% (not a typo) had a favorable view.
Socialism was viewed favorably by 18% of the voters and unfavorably by 69%.

Capitalism was 56% favorable; 32% unfavorable.
“Socialism is toxic to these voters,” said the top Democrat.

Documents from a 2015 libel suit linked to the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a friend of the prince, are to be made public...

Most of the story is behind a pay wall but the important thing is these files are going to be made public.

Investigators believe Jacqueline Crayton fell in the house she shared with her daughter and disabled granddaughter in 2016. Her daughter did not tend to her non-life-threatening injuries, police said in a Facebook post, resulting in Crayton dying on a bedroom floor at the age of 71. Police found Crayton's remains last week while conducting a Child Protective Services investigation at the home where her daughter and granddaughter still live, Seguin Police Chief Terry Nichols said at a press conference.

Delissa Crayton, 49, is facing a felony charge of injury to a child under 15 because police believe her daughter suffered from living in the two-bedroom home with her grandmother's decomposing corpse. While her grandmother decayed in one of the bedrooms, the teenage daughter shared the other bedroom with her mother, police said. The teenager has been placed with family members, police said... The investigation is ongoing and police are expected to make further charges against Delissa Crayton, who is already facing up to 20 years and a fine of up to $10,000.

The Democratic Republic of Congo has confirmed the first case of Ebola in the eastern city of Goma, home to more than a million people. The health ministry confirmed that a pastor tested positive for the virus in a centre in Goma after arriving there by bus on Sunday. The ministry says that risk of the disease spreading is low. More than 1,600 people have died since the Ebola outbreak began in eastern DR Congo a year ago.
